Your journey to your beautiful wedding day has brought you to my website, be that from word of mouth, curiosity or just by pure luck, let me take the time to let you know a bit about me.

You have probably already guessed it but my name is Calum, I am a 29 year old Aberdeen Wedding Photographer from Scotland. My path into wedding photography started around 12 years ago when I first picked up a camera to capture my friends taking part in different extreme sports. I quickly realised I quite like this! One thing lead to another and by 2010 I had gained my Bachelor of Arts in Commercial Photography at Robert Gordon University. During my time studying I photographed my very first wedding and haven’t stopped since.

The thing I love about weddings is being part of something no one else will be. I’ll experience the day as no one else will. I love the fact that I will photograph your day as a literal fly on the wall and share your day back with you. I’m always in awe that by the end of a wedding day I will have created something that won’t be recreated or could be recreated. I’ll have captured moments that will never be again. People that may not be together. But through my naturally documentative and creative style you will end up with a story intertwined with memories that will be forever.

A little bit about me away from the camera…

I married my wonderful wife in October 2018. I am an avid cyclist be it on the road or rumbling down the side of a hill, having said that I equally enjoy cosy nights getting stuck into a Netflix documentary with a nice gin. My little girl is my absolute world and she is a total daddy’s girl (in my opinion!). I love spending time with my little family and it must be said we are pretty big Disney fans (our holidays for the last 3 years have been spent there!). Last and by no means I have to mention the 2 other members of our family our cats, we have 2 adorable furry rogues who we love to death.
